The main aim of the Maternofetal and Embryology (MatE) Research Group is to promote research unterests and collaboration in the field of reproductive biology and medicine. MatE facilitates research and dissemination of research findings in reproductive biology and medicine to the general public, scientists, clinicians and patients.
It organizes a community outreach program called MatE2U to improve reproductive health in rural and urban areas nationwide via structured teaching and training activities. MatE also aims to work with policy-makers in Malaysia to promote the wellbeing and future health of the nation, via improvement of maternofetal health.
