Invention, Innovation & Design Exposition 2016

Maternofetal and Embryo (MatE) Research Group bagged a Gold Medal in the Invention, Innovation & Design Exposition 2016  (iidex2016) with the research entitled  “ CLSM-Cryo-SEM COMBO: A Novel Approach for the Detection of Embryonic Ultrastructure Damage after Cryopreservation, in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) “.

Invention, Innovation & Design Exposition (iidex)  is an annual International Exhibition and Competition organized by Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). The focus of iidex2016 is aligned with the third thrust of the National Higher Education Strategic Plan which is Enhancing Research and Innovation.

iidex2016’s theme, “Revving Innovation Soaring Commercialisation”, is set to boost innovation culture amongst students and researchers, encourage collaboration between the academia and industries as well as commercialise innovation and invention.

 MSPP 30th Scientific Meeting

The MSPP 30th Scientific Meeting was held from the 15-16th August 2016 in Putrajaya, Malaysia, at Putrajaya Marriott Hotel, IOI Resort City. Maternofetal  and Embryo (MatE) Research Group has won the Best Poster with the research entitled “Effect of Nicotine on The Cytoskeleton Structure of Pre-implantation Embryos in Mice”.

This scientific meeting addressed the current research findings in the fields of pharmacology and physiology. It will provide a platform for scientists, researchers, postgraduates and academicians to share their recent advances in these fields.

The theme for this year 2016 is " Health Sciences: Frontiers in Translational Medicine "
